Tamaqua Lions donate to emergency services

The Tamaqua Lions Club presented checks totaling over $3,000 to eight local emergency service organizations during their regular meeting held at their Lions Club Grove in Tamaqua.

This is the Tamaqua Lions Club largest annual donation.

Organizations receiving donations were Tamaqua Ambulance, Tamaqua East End Fire Company, American Hose Company, Citizens Fire Company, South Ward Fire Company, Tamaqua Rescue Squad, Tamaqua Fire Police, and Hometown Fire Company.

Following the check presentation, Lions Club members were given a tour of the Tamaqua Ambulance vehicle.
