Bashing a Car to help a vet

Published July 27. 2011 05:02PM

Dean Green of Operation: Touch of Home gets ready to show onlookers how you wield a sledgehammer to bash a car at the Tri-County Vettes and Brodheadsville Chevrolet Car Show and Swap Meet. The idea was to raise funds to donate to the building of a home for U.S. Army SPC Robert Kislow III of Danielsville. He had his right leg amputated after being shot while serving in Afghanistan. Operation: Touch of Home plans to donate all the proceeds from the Car Bash to the Build Brigade through an organization called Homes for our Troops that will be working on a home for Kislow on July 22, 23, 23. If interested in making a donation or helping at the build site, contact Lee Slattery at 610-395-8446 ext. 241 or email
