United Way head speaks to Rotary

Melissa Binder, United Way of Carbon County president, was guest speakerat a recent meeting of Lehighton Rotary Club. She discussed how United Way allocates funds to agencies that run programs to better the lives of the people in our local communities by providing basic needs, strengthening families,helping children succeed,and promoting self-sufficiency.
