Divorces granted

Jerome Richmond Jr., 519 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Shelly L. Montgomery-Richmond, Glenmoore. They were married Feb. 14, 1995.

Billy Joe Fisher was granted a divorce from Nicole Marie Chapman Fisher, both of Mahanoy City. They were married June 22, 2009.

Christine A. Logotheticles, Pottsville, was granted a divorce from David Kokenda, 69 Airport Road, Hazleton. They were married Sept. 9, 2007.

File for divorce

Scott Soley, 1844 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, filed suit for divorce from Natalie Soley, no address. They were married June 24, 2006.

Granted parole

Rashan Hunt, 20, McAdoo, after a hearing was granted parole by Judge Charles M. Milller with certain restrictions.

He must reside at 133 N. Cleveland St., McAdoo, secure and maintain fulltime employment and failing to secure employment in 30 days to notifiy his probation officer. Hunt pleaded guilty in May 2010 to possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana and was placed on probation 12 months to run consecutive with a another sentence of 23 months probation.

Credit card debts

Arrow Financial Services, LLC, Melville, N.Y., filed suit against Jessica Marcinczyk and Donald Marcinczyk, 23 E. Lakewood Avenue, Barnesville, alleging payments of $2,535.10 is overdue on their credit card.

Discover Bank, New Albany, Ohio, filed suit against Kelly Naylor, 605 Arlington St., Tamaqua, alleging $6,039.80 is overdue on her credit card payments.

Mortgage foreclosure

Wells Fargo Bank, on behalf of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Inc., Fort Mill, S.C., filed suit against Shane S. Puckett alleging he has defaulted mortgage payments on his property at 515 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, and seeks a judgment for $17,690.56.

Revoke probation

Brian Lee Filer Sr., 43, Tamaqua, had his probation revoked by Judge Miller and was re-sentenced on a charge of possession of a controlled substance to serve four to 12 months in the county prison with credit for having served 47 days. He must reside at 6 Cherry St., Tamaqua, upon his release and must undergo a mental health and drug and alcohol evaluations.

Filer pleaded guilty in June 2010 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was placed on probation but violated the terms.

Demetrios Manarplaus Jr., 28. Pottsville, had his parole revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin, however, he was immediately granted a new parole because he agreed to undergo drug and alcohol treatment. His six months of liberty was taken away and his new maximum date for discharge was set back to Jan. 12, 2012.

He had been found guilty by Judge Dolbin of a charge of possession of a prohibitive weapon after a non-jury trial and served four months in prison and was out on parole when he was found to have violating terms set by the judge.

Jason Edward Demanczyk, 38, Pine Grove, had his probation revoked by Judge Dolbin and he was re-sentenced on a charge of indecent assault to serve one to two years in a state correctional institution. On a charge of corruption of minors to serve an additional three to 12 months in the state prison.

He had pleaded guilty to the charges and after serving nine months in the county prioson was placed on probation for five years but failed to follow the order fixed by court.
