Kidder arrests

Kidder Township police reported on the following arrests made by officers.

On March 5 police filed charges with the county juvenile probation office against a 17-year-old male from Jim Thorpe for stealing a vehicle on Jan. 9, 2012. The vehicle, a 1995 Toyota Corolla, was stolen from a driveway on South Lake Drive, Lake Harmony. The vehicle was later located on State Game Lands near Behrens Road, by Det. Cpl. Neil Yurchak, the same day. The vehicle was then processed and evidence found was sent to a crime lab.In February a report was received from the lab that the suspect was identified as the person involved in the theft. He was interviewed and admitted to stealing the car, police said.On Sunday, March 17, about 5:30 p.m. Horace Moore, 43, of Philadelphia, was arrested for burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and receiving stolen property as the result of an incident along Mayberry Lane, in Albrightsville.A neighbor saw Moore removing items from the residence and called police. Police arrived and took Moore into custody.He was placed in the county prison in Nesquehoning. All the items removed from the home were recovered.
