Woman, teens cited in Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe police report the arrest of a Jim Thorpe woman on disorderly conduct charges and two teenagers for underage drinking as a result of an incident at 9:34 p.m. April 11 in front of the Jim Thorpe National Bank, 12 Broadway.

Police said Kimberly Ann McKeever, 33, of 357 W. Broadway, was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment and her 15-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old male were cited for underage drinking.

Police said they were dispatched to the area to investigate a fight involving several females and upon arrival were informed by McKeever that her daughter had been drinking at a friend's house. Police learned the girl and the 17-year-old male had been drinking at a residence at 723 Spring St. Police said it was reported to them that McKeever allegedly grabbed her daughter's friend by the throat and pushed her several times against parked vehicles at the site of the reported fight.
