As the world's largest service organization, Lions' members take an active role in their respective communities, supporting such programs as eyeglasses for needy individuals, the blind community, youth activities and helping their fire and police departments. Ideas on a direction for the new club in Carbon County will be discussed at the July 11 meeting. The new club plans to meet every second and fourth Monday of each month at a selected location.
For those who would like more information on becoming involved in any way with the new club, please contact Bob and Gail at (610) 377-5559 or (610) 533-9311 or by email to Carey@ptd.net.
