Marian Catholic High School received an anonymous $50,000 matching grant donation from a past alumni to help replace two Marian High School bleachers. The old 35-year old ground-level bleachers are being replaced with raised aluminum bleachers, which are able to comfortably seat about 1,000 fans. The remaining half of the $100,000 needed to build the new state-of-the-art bleachers is still to be raised by Men of Marian members. Stan Dakosty, Men of Marian member, athletic director and head football coach, is asking all fans, former players, alumni and the community to contribute. For more information visit their website at http://www.mariancatholichs.org or call (570) 467-3335. Pictured from left are Tom Gerhard, President; Jack Malarkey, membership chairman; and Dakosty.
