Driver injured on Mile Hill in Hometown

Around 8:15 a.m. this morning, Rush and Kline Township Police responded to a one-vehicle accident at the bottom southbound side of the "Mile Hill", Claremont Avenue, on Rt. 309 in Hometown after a male driver lost control and hit a guardrail and sign. He was taken via McAdoo Ambulance to the Hazleton Hospital. Hometown Fire Police directed traffic around the area fo the duration.
