Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Spirko of Lehighton will soon celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 27, 1970 in Levittown, Pa.

Mrs. Spirko is the former Gail Ann Davidson, daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Davidson of Lehighton. She graduated from Pennsburg High School in 1969. She worked at Bell Telephone.Mr. Spirko is the son of the late Nicholas and Ethel Spirko of Charleroi, Pa. He graduated from St. Jerome's Catholic High School and served in the United States Navy as a Seabee, and is a Vietnam veteran. He is an electrician.The Spirkos have two children. Kenneth Jr. of Weatherford, Texas; and Kerry Ann, who is married to Ed Heffelfinger of Willow Park, Texas.They have four grandchildren: Tiffany, Jasmine, Tyler and Levi.
