Hallmark Channel's countdown to Valentine's Day
Starring in the Hallmark Original Movie "Smooch," which airs Saturday, Feb.5 on the Hallmark Channle, are Kellie Martin, Keith Christian, and 11-year-old Kiernan Shipka.
The Hallmark Channel has three original movie in its "Countdown to Valentine's Day."
"A Valentine's Day" starring Elisa Donovan airs at 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.
On Saturday, Feb. 5, "Smooch" will be aired at 9 p.m.
Then on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 9 p.m., "Accidentally In Love" airs.
"A Valentine's Date" is about a single mother who hopes to find out there's more to life than just raising her kid and sparring with her ex.
Count on it. That's the premise of "A Valentine's Date," which stars Elisa Donovan as heroine, Laura Conners. Donovan who logged time on some seminal television shows like "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" as a regular and also had a role in the 1995 film classic "Clueless" is celebrating a special birthday on February 3, the day before her latest film premieres.
She gets to star opposite some hunky guys named Brad Rowe (he plays her ex, Dylan), Tom Skerritt of "Picket Fences" fame and John Schneider of "The Dukes of Hazzard."
"Smooch" stars Kellie Martin, who mentors a child acting prodigy.
In this Hallmark Channel Original Movie, Martin portrays Gwen, the widowed mother of Zoe, an 11-year-old girl obsessed with fairy tales who winds up getting plopped right smack in the middle of one. Zoe is played by "Mad Men" star Kiernan Shipka, who is, like her character, 11 years old.
Zoe searches in vain for the perfect man to help deliver her mom from loneliness. One day, she carries a frog from her middle school science class and accidentally drops it into San Francisco Bay. It's at that moment that an honest-to-goodness male monarch in full royal regalia (Simon Kassianides) emerges from a dingy, dazed from a night of wild partying.
"Accidentally in Love" stars Jennie Garth from "Beverly Hills 90210," who portrays a single mother who finds love inside a bunny suit.
Garth plays Annie, a struggling waitress, widow and single mom to an adorable six-year-old moppet named Taylor (Dannika Northcott). It happens that Taylor is tragically losing her eyesight due to a degenerative condition, complicating things further.
