Two miners in the employ of the Panther Valley Coal Company were injured in Shaft No. 3 at Nesquehoning this morning when a coal car jumped the track. Anthony Logan, 59, New Columbus, and John Paluka, 50, Lansford, were admitted to Coaldale Hospital, where their condition is said to be critical. The men were treated at the colliery by Dr. Marvin Evans, Lansford, before being sent to the hospital.
