Polk to meet once a month
Polk Township Supervisors will continue with their respective positions, as per reorganizational meeting held earlier this month. However, a change was made to how often and when the supervisors will meet.
"For at least for the winter," the township meetings will be held at 7 p.m., instead of the previous 7:30 p.m. time, on only the fourth Monday of the month, not on both the second and fourth Mondays.
Agenda items are due the Tuesday of the week before the supervisors meeting, with Jan. 18 being the due date for the Jan. 24 meeting.
