The Bowmanstown Parryville Lions Club held its annual Christmas Dinner on Dec. 18 at The Terrace in Walnutport.

Guests at the dinner included Paul Barth, past district governor, who inducted two new members, Paulette Keiper and Kathleen Hein.Barth announced two new recipients of the Lions of PA Foundation Award: Norman Engle Jr. and Duane Hawk. He also acknowledged past recipients who were in attendance.Barth also presented a Chevron Lions Pin to Willard Flickinger for 25 years of service to the club. Secretary Edward Steigerwalt awarded 100 percent pins to 27 members for 2010.President Jean Smith presented Ray Nunemacher with the Lion of the Year Award. A Bible in memory of the late Donald Bartholomew, a member, was presented to his widow, Kitty.During the event, David Westrip sang Christmas songs and performed on his keyboard.
