A female motorist escaped serious injury Thursday morning after rolling her late model Jeep Liberty along Pohopoco Drive in Franklin Township. The crash occurred at 7:30 a.m. as she was driving west about a half-mile before Harrity road. The vehicle reportedly rolled several times before coming to rest on its left side along the berm. The victim refused treatment by Lehighton paramedics. Responding was the Franklin Township Fire Company. Franklin Township Chief of Police Tom Beltz is investigating the incident.
