Yudichak takes oath in Pa. Senate

Sen. John Yudichak, seated-center, is Carbon County's newest state senator, representing the 14th District. He took his oath of office on Tuesday during ceremonies held at the State Capitol. Among the Carbon County residents who were on hand for the ceremony were, front, from left, Bill Richards, who will work for the senator in his Carbon County office in Jim Thorpe, and Billy O'Gurek Jr.,chairman of the Democratic Party of Carbon County; and back, Recorder of Deeds Emmett McCall, who chaired Yudichak's 2010 Carbon County campaign, Controller Robert Crampsie, commissioners Charles Getz and William O'Gurek and Michael McCall, Panther Valley Area Chairman of the Democratic Party of Carbon County.
