Burned truck found in woods

A burned truck was found in woods in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said a hiker found the truck about 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, in a wooded area about 100 yards west of New Philadelphia Road, and a half-mile north of Sunset Lane, in Blythe Township.

Troopers said the roll back truck was still smoldering when it was found. The truck was identified as a 1997 International with roll back body and registered to a business in Allentown. At the time it was found the truck had not been reported stolen. Troopers said they were unable to make contact with the owner. The investigation into the crash is continuing.
