There were no injuries Thursday afternoon when a driver drove her car into the rear of a loaded school bus on Bankway Street in Lehighton. The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. as the bus was sitting in traffic waiting to make a left turn onto the McCall bridge. The driver of the car failed to see the stopped bus. None of the students on the bus nor the driver of the car were injured in the mishap. The car suffered heavy front end damage and had to be towed from the scene. Lehighton police are investigating the incident.
