Published February 23. 2011 05:00PM

Blue Mountain Ski Area is holding "Skiing and Snowboarding Under the Stars" a benefit for Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley on Feb. 26.

Blue is offering guests a chance to do something they are not normally privy to; skiing or riding from 10 p.m, to 2 a.m. Marketing Director Heidi Lutz states "This is a new event here at Blue; we really wanted to give guests a novel and memorable experience while also having a great benefit for Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley. Blue Mountain is committed to giving back to the local community and we hope to raise enough funds to build a new house in either Carbon or Lehigh County."The event will take place in the Summit Lodge. Guests will have access to all the trails from Vista to Lazy Mile. Along with skiing and snowboarding there will be plenty of free entertainment. The Mango Men will be performing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Under the Wire will be here from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. For additional information, call (610) 826-7700.
