Damages estimated in the thousands of dollars occurred in the area as Old Man Winter got in a one-two punch. Winds of near hurrican intensity damaged building, broke chimneys, and blew in windows and storm doors. Three to four inches of snow covered the area, but the New York City area got up to 16 inches. The most serious wind damage happened at the Keystone Lamp Company in Slatington where a 300 foot section of the building was blown down.
