Palmerton Area Democratic Club to discuss issues facing the borough

The Palmerton Area Democratic Club will meet Tuesday, Feb. 8, 7 p. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown.

"Rescheduled from January, the featured topic in our series 'Issues Facing Palmerton' will be 'An Update on Developing the West Plant Site'," said Club President, Sarina Berlow. Participants will include Palmerton Mayor, Brad Doll, and Democratic members of Borough Council.

Upcoming meetings on Tuesday, March 8 and Tuesday, April 12, will offer opportunities to meet Democratic Primary Candidates for local and county offices including Magistrate.

The area covered by the Club includes Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township and Lower Towamensing Township. Meetings are monthly, the second Tuesday of the month, September to May, 7 p.m. at the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown. Annual Dues of $1/yr. was due Jan. 1.
