Tiffani Hoffman marries Michael Wernett Jr.

Tiffani Hoffman of Sunbury, Pa., became the bride of Michael Wernett Jr. of Jim Thorpe on Oct. 30, 2010 at St. Joseph's Church, Jim Thorpe.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Francis Baransky. Becky McFadden was the vocalist, while Michael Seroka was the organist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Ken Hoffman, Sunbury, and Theresa Snyder of Arizona. She chose Kim Rhoades of Sunbury to be the matron of honor.Bridesmaids included Cadi Wernett, Nesquehoning, the bridegroom's sister; Nicole Irving, Glassboro, N.J.; and her sisters, Desiree Hoffman of Washington, D.C., and Marissa Hoffman of Sunbury.The bride's daughter, Amelia Hoffman, was the flower girl.The son of Gail and Michael Wernett Sr., Jim Thorpe, the bridegroom chose Matthew Searfoss of Jim Thorpe to serve as best man.Ushers included James Borosh, Philadelphia; James Albaugh-Fritz, Nesquehoning; Richard Herpai, Philadelphia; and Andrew Hoffman, Madison, Conn., brother of the bride.The bridegroom's son, Gabriel Wernett, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony the couple greeted family and friends at a reception held at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe. Prenuptial parties included a bridal shower in September, hosted by the bridegroom's mother. The couple is planning to honeymoon in Bora Bora.The new Mrs. Wernett is a 2000 graduate of Shikellamy High School.She is employed as an aging care manager with the Northumberland County Area Agency on Aging.Mr. Wernett is a 2000 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School. He is a 2009 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where he obtained a degree in finance.He is employed by Geisinger Hospital in Danville.The newlyweds currently reside in Sunbury.
