Four are arrested for Monroe assault

Four persons were arrested for criminal conspiracy and simple assault as a result of an incident that happened on Dec. 5 at Nino C's Pizza in the Carriage Square Shopping Center, Tobyhanna.

Charged were Tracey Hardwick, 44, Diamond Simmons, 20, Dominique Simmons, 20, and Donald Simmons Jr., 18, all of Tobyhanna.

Police said they were arrested on Dec. 22 for their roles in the incident in which the victim, Chevette Showers, was assaulted during a verbal argument that turned physical. Police said the woman was struck in the head several times during the altercation.
