Panther Valley Elementary's SHINE After-school program recently created a business plan to give back to the community. Their business plan included selling ornaments to raise money for a local charity. The first through fifth grade students made the ornaments and the fourth and fifth grade students set prices and created posters promoting the fundraiser. The students then sold the ornaments at Panther Valley's Family Book fair night recently. Pictured holding ornaments are, front, from left, Larissa Becker, Karlene Kleppinger, Jakelyn Coady, Logan Wallace, and Kevin Paulus. Behind them is college intern Luke Thear.
