Fake money passed in Lehigh County

A case of counterfeit currency being passed in Lehigh County is being investigated by state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said the incident was reported at 1:34 p.m. Dec. 19 by the Wal-Mart Store, Lower Macungie Township.

Police said someone purchased a Visa gift card from the store and paid for it with the counterfeit bills.
