Thefts from motor vehicles reported

State police at the Fogelsville barracks have reported five cases of motor vehicles being entered and items from them being stolen.

Gladys M. Pickering, 73, of Allentown, reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole a handbag from the rear seat. That incident happened at 11:36 a.m. Dec. 19 in the parking lot of the WalMart Store in Lower Macungie Township.

David and Jennifer Dardas, Macungie, reported someone stole several items from the vehicles of both victims between 11 p.m. Dec. 18 and 6:45 a.m. Dec. 19. The vehicles were marked in their driveway at the time. The items taken are valued at $948 and included a GPS system, sunglasses and cash.

George D. Leiser, Lower Macungie Township, reported someone stole a navigation system from his vehicle while it was parked in the 5700 block of Fresh Meadow Drive, Macungie. The theft was reported at 3:38 p.m. Dec. 19.

Brian Rocca, 48, of Fogelsville, reported someone stole a golf bag and several golf clubs from his vehicle when it was parked in the driveway of his home in Weisenberg Township during the overnight hours of Dec. 18-19.

Kathedra Kim Farmer, 5702 Greens Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported someone stole jewelry from her vehicle when it was parked at her residence at 3:31 p.m. Dec. 8.
