Two clubs bring Christmas cheer to Weatherwood

Madeline Ligenza, a member of the Nesquehoning Woman's Club and Jim Thorpe Lioness Club, left; and Nancy Probert, activities director at Weatherwood, right; hand out gifts to Weatherwood residents John Cody and Bert Huggett for Christmas. The Nesquehoning Woman's Club and Jim Thorpe Lioness Club donated and distributed nearly 150 gifts to the residents. The groups have been doing this project for many years as a way to bring Christmas cheer to the nursing home.
