State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said one person was hurt in a three-vehicle pileup at 3 p.m. Dec. 21 at the intersection of Rt. 443 and North Greenview Road in North Manheim Township.

Police said Paige E. Hricisak, 18, of Orwigsburg, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center, Pottsville, in the Orwigsburg Ambulance.

Police said the accident happened when a 2002 Subaru Legacy operated by Alyssa M. Myro, 21, of St. Clair, attempted to turn east onto Rt. 443 from North Greenview Road and struck the passenger's side of a 2002 Mercury Sable driven by Hricisak, which was traveling east on the roadway at the time. The Legacy then spun 180 degrees into the westbound lane, where it was struck by a westbound 2005 Kia Sedona operated by Sandra Magda, 39, of Auburn.

The Legacy and Sable were towed from the scene.
