Man grabs 20s from cash register

A robbery that happened at 8:55 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Dollar General Store in Blakeslee is under unvestigation by Pocono Mountain Regional Police.

Police said the incident happened when a man approached a cashier to make a purchase and then reached over the counter and into the open register, taking several twenty dollar bills before running out the door. Police said it is unknown how much money the man stole.

He is described as being a while male, possibily in his late 20s. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
