McHale, Hometown, retires from Penn State

Professor George McHale, Hometown, who turned 60 today, received a retirement trophy and appreciation letter from Penn State officials for serving over 28 years as a mathematics professor at the Penn State-Hazleton Campus. From left are McHale's daughter Rebecca Ndikwiki holding her daughter Skorastica, 3, George McHale, wife Patsy, who will turn 60 on Dec. 31, and his son Brian McHale. In total, George served 39 years as a teacher, to include his time teaching at the Tamaqua Area High School and Lehigh Carbon Community College.
