Schuylkill driver facing DUI count

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 2:06 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, along Patterson St., at Second St., in Saint Clair.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Sean Liam Farrell, 23, of Saint Clair, was stopped when he was observed driving a 2006 Jeep Liberty without the headlights on. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.

He was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, where he submitted to a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
