A domestic incident in Schuylkill County has led to charges being filed.

State police at Frackville said troopers were called to the village of Newkirk, Schuylkill Township, about 10 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, for a domestic-related incident.

Upon arrival troopers were told that Michael Farber, 46, of Tamaqua, had allegedly subjected two family members to physical contact. Minor injuries were received as a result, troopers said.

Farber was taken into custody and arraigned before on-call District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, on one count of simple assault and two counts of harassment. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.

The investigation into the incident is continuing, troopers noted.
