Justin Startzel and Lee Caulkins string tens of thousands of lights in preparation for Santa's visit to the South Ward Playground in Tamaqua. The jolly gent will spend some time at the playground on Dec. 11, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m., visiting with local families. A small gift will be presented to all children 10 and younger. Festivities will include a musical light show and free hot chocolate and cookies. In addition to the gift from St. Nick, there will also be bike and toy giveaways. The playround is located at the intersection of Penn and Oak Streets in Tamaqua.
