A domestic incident in Monroe County has led to charges against one of the participants.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said about 11:55 p.m. on Nov. 25 they responded to a report of a domestic disturbance outside a vehicle along SR196 in Mount Pocono. Upon arrival, officers observed Phillip Watson, 26, of 9519 Jasmine Drive, Tobyhanna, arguing with his wife.

Police separated the parties. At this point Watson became extremely belligerent and uncooperative with police. He began yelling, cursing and walking into approaching traffic, police said.

When police attempted to place him under arrest, he resisted and had to be physically subdued. He was transported to police headquarters where he was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
