Break-ins probed

State police at Lehighton reported investigating two burglaries recently.

Troopers said Quality Collision business, located at 444 S. Allen St., Weisport, was entered by force. Removed was a personal computer and a digital camera. The incident occurred sometime between Saturday, Nov. 26, and Monday, Nov. 28.

A home along Mount Eaton Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, was entered sometime between Nov. 23 and 27. Forced entry was made to the residence and rmoved from a rifle and assorted jewelry.

Troopers also reported on a criminal mischief incident. David Hoppes, 45, of 395 Little Gap Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported someone "keyed" his two vehicles while parked at his home. The incident occurred during the overnight hours of Nov. 27-28.
