Jim Thorpe police have arrested David M. Neff Jr., 21, of Allentown, on various charges stemming from an incident at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 30 on the Flagstaff Road,

Police said they were summoned there for a report of individuals in distress and upon arrival, located an individual who identified himself as Michael Dre of Allentown. Police said they found a small amount of suspected marijuana in the man's possession, along with several cigars which he admitted smoking as blunts. The suspect was informed he would receive charges in the mail.

Police later learned the man's real name was David Neff, not Dre.

In addition to being charged with possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police charged Neff with providing false identification to law enforcement authorities.
