Worker falls from roof

A worker was seriously injured Monday morning after falling from a roof at a construction project in Kidder Township. The incident began at 9 a.m. when the worker fell from the roof of a home at 15 Hemlock Drive in the Holiday Pocono developement along SR534. The worker was working for the Seitz Construction company of Lake Harmony, falling an undetermined distance to the ground. It was reported the 40 year old victim was unconscious after the fall. Personnel at the scene who knew the victim stated this is not the first time he had fallen from a roof while employed and had been flown from a previous scene. The worker was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics then flown by the Penn Star helicopter to a Lehigh Valley area trauma center.
