Theft incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on several theft incidents being investigated by troopers.

Donna Marie McConnell, 36, of 167 Weir Mountain Rd., in Kunkletown, Monroe County, reported her 1991 Yamaha Blaster all terrain vehicle (ATV) was stolen from her residence sometime between Aug. 15 and 17.

Theresa M. Chestnut, 47, of 1205 Greenway Lane, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone entered her home and removed a Sony HD camcorder from a bedroom dresser. The camcorder is valued ate $600. The incident occurred sometime between noon on Aug. 11, and 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 12.

Troopers said unknown persons removed road closed signs and cones from the area of Lower Middle Creek Road, in Polk Township, sometime between Aug 12 at 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Aug. 13. The road was closed for maintenance, troopers added.

Timonty Andrew McGee, 42, of Newark, Del., reported various articles of personal property was removed from his unlocked vehicle while parked at the Wildcreek Trail Head along Phopoco Drive, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The theft occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. on Aug. 12. The stolen items are valued at $440.
