Corn pickers are needed

The Garden of Giving in Effort, a 501c3 nonprofit garden that raises fresh food for the area's food pantries, is in need of volunteers to come help harvest the corn crop Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Aug. 19-22.)

Perhaps your Girl or Boy Scout troop, 4H Club, youth group, service organization would be willing to help.

The Garden of Giving is located off Rt. 715 North.
