Mischief incident probed in Tamaqua

Tamaqua police are investigating an act of criminal mischief resulting in a broken window at the 48 Hours Video Store at 137 N. Railroad St.

Officers were dispatched to the store at 11:28 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, and noticed the glass window next to the entrance had been smashed. Witnesses reported that four teenage males had been standing in front of the video store moments before the glass shattered. The quartet then ran across Railroad Street.

Descriptions of the males were provided.
