Movie goers got to stay in town last night as they enjoyed a free movie at the East End Park in Tamaqua, sponsored by the East End Park Association. The association's final free movie of the summer will be "Despicable Me", rated PG, which will be held on Monday, August 15 at 8:30 p.m. Pictured at the concession stand during movie intermission are Tavio Pavia, 6, Metta Pavia, 4, and Abby Pickford, 16, buying goodies from park volunteer Frank Miller. Association member Penny Gursky stated, "This free program provides local kids a fun place to go and enjoy a night with family."
