Lehighton police tell residents to lock cars

Published August 08. 2011 05:03PM

Lehighton Police Department reminds borough residents to always lock and secure their vehicles. Over the last couple of weeks there have been numerous reports of items being taken from vehicles. Keeping vehicles locked and valuables out of sight will help deter people from taking advantage of unlocked vehicles.

If anyone hears or sees something suspicious, call 911 immediately.

Anyone having information regarding these incidents may call the police station at (610) 377-4003.
