Making crafts at the marketplace

Diann Bittenbender, left, help, left Kellen Trotter and Meredith Howell, make sheep toys at the marketplace at St. Matthew's UCC's Vacation Bible School. The theme is Hometown Nazareth and the children are experiencing what it may have been like when Jesus was a boy through Bible stories, crafts and songs. Other activities at the marketplace included: making a bracelet from beads made from clay and making their own pinch pots from clay; making a rock necklace or mosaic from the rock quarry; making a money box (tzedakah) found in the synagogue; tie dying using colors from Biblical time.
