Old fashioned picnic held in West Penn

Hundreds of visitors attended the annual West Penn Community Church Social held Sunday at the West Penn Community Park, courtesy of the Zion Stone Church in West Penn. The event consisted of homemade food, a dunk tank, games, basket extravaganza, hay-throwing contest, watermelon-spitting contest, flea market, and many more events. Entertainment included performers Mike Miller Good News Traveling Band, Eileen Meiser and Bill Clause and the Blue Mountain Buckaneers. Organizers expressed their appreciation to all the sponsors and volunteers that helped put the event together. See related photos on page 2.
