A Berks County man is being sought for a bank robbery that occurred at a Lehigh County branch bank office earlier this week.

State police at Fogelsville said they are seeking Corey S. Angstadt, 43, whose last known address was 1213 Beaumont Ave., in Temple.

Angstadt is wanted for robbery and related charges for an incident at the TD Bank, located at 5980 Hamilton Blvd., in Lower Macungie Township.

On Monday about 7:15 p.m. Angstadt displayed and identified a device that he placed into the drive-thru tube and sent inside the bank as a bomb. Angstadt demanded money from the tellers and told them if they did not provide the money, the device would explode.

The tellers placed the money inside the tube with the device and sent it back to Angstadt. Angstadt then left the scene in a green 1996 Ford F150 pickup truck.

He is described as being 6-foot, 4-inches tall, weighing 250 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information on Angstadt is asked to call troopers at (610) 395-1438 or dial 9-1-1.
