Summit Hill/Lansford News
In conjunction with Memorial Day, the Summit Hill Historical Society will again be putting veterans' pictures on display in its museum window. The photographs should be framed and labeled with the veteran's name and years of service on them, and can contain any other pertinent information about the serviceman/woman's service. Persons donating the photographs for use should put their telephone number on the backs of the frames so that they can be promptly returned.
The pictures can be dropped off at the Summit Hill Water Authority office or arrangements will be made to obtain them by calling Maxine Vermillion, (570) 645-9772.
The photographs are due by May 4.
