A Maryland driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Thomas Jacobs, 58, of SilverSpring, was stopped about 10:40 p.m. on Friday, April 22, along SR4033 (Pattersonville Hill), in Union Township, for a traffic violation.Jacobs showed signs of intoxication and was taken to the barracks for a breath test. He was found to be over the legal limit of .08 percent, troopers said.
