Panther Valley High School presents annual Spring Concert

Panther Valley High School and Panther Valley Middle School will present a combined annual Spring Concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. The opening and welcome will be done by Mr. Gunnels, principal of Panther Valley High School.

The JROTC will lead the pledge to the flag.The concert will open with the "Star Spangled Banner," performed by the combined middle school and high school band.The Panther Valley Junior Band, under the Direction of Joe Ogozalek and Miss Carol Fella will offer the following selections: "Any Way You Want It by Neal Schon & Steven Perry; "Hawaii Five-O" by Mort Stevens; "Theme from Transformers" by Steven Jabilonsky; "Bella's Lullaby" by Carter Burwell; "I Gotta Felling," arranged by Michael Brown; "Hey, Soul Sister, arranged by Jameds Kazik; "Rock & Roll All Night" arranged by Paul Murtha; "Sinking" by Jake Tokosh; and an original composition by Jake Tokosh, performed by Jake, Kayla Melber, Daniel Ledo & Robert German; "Landslide" by Stevie Nicks and performed by Marissa Pettit; "Jar Of Hearts" by Christina Perri and performed by Judy Lin.The Panther Valley High School Band will follow. Band members have chosen the following selections, "Ascentium" by Ed Huckeby; "Bonds Of Unity" by Karl King/James Swearingen; "That Old Hound Dog Rag" by Randall D. Standridge; "Fire Dance" by David Shaffer; "Rampage" by Todd Salter. A medley of songs with drum line cadences and features including "Down" by Jhooti, Carter, Remy, Bass, Cotter, Perkins; "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga; "Go Wit D' Flow" by Chris Brooks; "Bang The Drum" by Todd Rundgren.The Middle school band will join the high school band on stage for the finale, "High Water Mark, The Third Day," by Michael Story. The program will conclude with a combined High School and Junior Band piece depicting events at Gettysburg during the American Civil War
