A hit-and-run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, July 16, along SR209, four-tenths of a mile north of SR1013, in Schuylkill Township.Troopers said Sharon Santore, of MaryD, was operating a 2000 Cooper mini and attempting to pass another vehicle when the other driver veered to the left and impacted with the Cooper.After impact Santore lost control and her vehicle went onto the berm and struck a road sign.The other driver fled the scene.Santore was not injured with damages minor to her car. The hit-and-run vehicle is described as being a Ford F150 two-tone (blue or green) pickup truck.Damage would be to the driver's side front wheel and or front fender. It was last seen heading south toward Pottsville.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
