The Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce held their awards presentation at the chamber for the winners of their annual fishing derby held recently at the Rabbit Run reservoir in Tamaqua. Many prizes were awarded, such as a trip to Canada, donated by Tom Banditelli Sr., who donates the trip every year, and pro-football Hall of Fame tickets. Pictured from left are chamber executive director Linda Yulanavage, winners Geoff Gallagher who won a fishing pole, Joseph Machay who won a tackle box, Shane Pacine who won a three-day trip to Caiger's Resort in Canada, Chamber member and derby organizer Tom Banditelli Sr., Chad Woleslagle with daughter Sydney, 7, who won a fishing pole, and Mike Kunkel who won pro-football Hall of Fame tickets. Both Yulanavage and Banditelli stated their appreciation to all the sponsors, volunteers and Owl Creek Reservoir Commission members for their help and support.
